"The Tyranny of Oil" angered me. I suggest you read it. I think Obama should do something so extreme and awesome that he'd go down in history, hopefully for the better. Overnight, he should completely nationalize all the US oil companies. The entire US oil industry should be brought into public ownership, and all their directors and board members kicked out (but not shot, this isn't 1917). He could use their extreme profits to finance any infrastructure project he could dream up. Hell, even if he at least made them pay as much tax as the average working man...DO IT!
And no, I don't think GM should be nationalized. Why nationalize losses when you can nationalize profit?
